A bit about the BARF Diet
Hi there! My name is Amber, and I am a five-year-old designer dog (my personal assistant Manuela likes to call me a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross Staffie, but I don’t think that really suits my style, do you?)
I am a confessed food connoisseur—in fact, I love anything to do with food, although I am certainly not fussy. I’m a food lover! I love eating everything, especially if it’s been dropped by humans on the pavement. I’m great at hoovering up street food.
My Personal Assistant Manuela doesn’t seem to like London street food for me, which I believe is rather unfair! She makes me spit it out immediately.
Apart from that, Manuela and I get along very well. It was quite easy to train her to understand my favourite meals, which are—without a doubt—those incredible BARF Diet that she makes. You know, biologically appropriate raw food. It just makes so much more sense than the fake stuff that some dogs have to suffer through from the supermarket shelves.
Eat BARF Diet to be Full Of Beans
I’m a canine, which is a word that those silly humans sometimes use refer to dogs more elegantly. And, because I’m a canine, I’m a carnivore—surprise, right? My kind is designed to be able to thrive on a primarily of a raw meat diet, with some fruits and veggies and bones thrown in for extra flavour and vitamins and minerals! So, it really isn’t that surprising that the unique recipes that my personal assistant makes for me are so much better than the poor excuse for ‘food’ that other dogs have to eat, full of fillers.
I mean, look at that ‘kibble’ stuff that some people feed their dogs. That stuff is so full of additives and chemicals and nasty things like that, and I’m sure the humans wouldn’t feel happy eating that—so why would they possibly want to feed it to their best friends? After all, while all the different breeds of dog may look different, we’re all mini wolves on the inside still.

Luckily for me, Manuela feeds my friends and me on her top-quality doggy diet, which makes so much more sense and keeps us all fit and healthy and happy. Admittedly Manuela sometimes whines that I have too much energy, but really, is there such a thing as that?
