My statement

Hello, it's me, Manuela, the owner of Lecker Bites. Read on when you want to know more about me and my intentions to provide natural dog treats for you and your pup.

It's been a long time since I lived in my hometown in Germany, I still believe in value for money. Now that I work with dogs (I am a pro dog walker and dog treat retailer), I also believe in old-fashioned service, so that is why our online store is more like a corner shop than a soulless warehouse.

The main reason that we are different is that we are small, focused and give advice based on dog needs, not on products that we want to sell. When you call us, you don’t get someone who would rather not be working there or a manager who knows nothing about the actual dog treats.

You get the owner, me.

While all dogs love the taste of meat, it is still actually the best and healthiest thing for them. No one denies that but adding real meat, quality meat, to any dog food or dog treat considerably boosts the manufacturing cost of a treat. And that is why so few companies specialise in meat-based dog treats. We figured if we really cared about our dogs, we would source only the best meat-based treats for them, the way nature really intended.

Only 3% of them make their own dog food, feed BARF and look for healthy, natural alternatives.
